Day 15 - Pocket

I never liked this blouse... The color is lovely and all, but I never liked the way it fits. It's one of those that has a rubber band sown into the lover hem, and it always ends up creeping up towards my waist, so I have to pull it down all the time. Ugh! I just hate that!

We've all had those clothes that we never really liked. Whether it be that we dislike the way they fit, their color or the material. That last one especially was a pain growing up. Remember those itchy sweaters our mums had us wear, haha, terrible!

Thankfully we can dress any way we want as adults. Now we're left to make our own bad choices shopping ;)

  1. Well, is a good model for today's word. The fabric, cut and stitches look nice enough. I suggest you give it away to a welfare secondhandshop tomorrow so it does not bother you anymore and perhaps somebody else will wear it happily ;)

    1. Ye's I suppose that it's time for a good clean out of my wardrobe. My mother works in one of those second hand shops and I usually give my nicer clothes to them, and donate the rest to charity. The shop donates to charity too though - the money they collect go straight to Bulgaria :)

  2. Lovely rich blues and the button detail works very well to make a great composition. I really like all the little spots. Good find, even if you don't like the shirt much.

  3. Great shot (whether you like the model or not). :)

  4. Dispite your disliking of the blouse, it's a wonderful shot of this product. I'm not sure if it won't work even better putting the lines straight (or mor diagonal for that matter), but it's a very well balanced very graphical picture with lots of interesting details.

  6. It looks very nice, but I have those clothes as well, and they're ones I think I'll wear just once one day. I really need to just take a photo of them and get rid of them (taking photos of things before getting rid of them is the best way for me to let go of things!).

    1. Funny I find that works for me too! Though I still have most of the treasures I photographed in a long ago 30 day challenge - that I was meant to get rid of :-)

  7. Your blouse is a good model for today's photo. I does look quite stiff and formal and I was thinking it was furnishing fabric made into a fancy cushion before reading the story.

  8. It's such a pretty color, have you considered taking out the elastic and wearing it with a really wide belt to hold it in place. Anyways, cool photo and very rule of thirds placement for the button!

    1. I have thought about it actually. Though I'm worried it will be too short. I guess I'll try it and see hihi :)
