Day 22 - Shop

As I said before, I no girly girl, I've never had that "shopping rush" and I've never understood the obsession some people have with shopping. I like to be in and out of a store as quickly as possible or, even better, shop online and avoid the hassle altogether.

Sometimes you get lucky though. I work in the city center and this Friday I walked by this store I've never really noticed before. That's when I saw this knitted poncho hanging outside. It was one of those rare things I liked straight away, and I had been thinking of buying something like that to keep at work, so I bought it. I was in and out of the store in under a minute! If only it was always so easy :)

  1. Very nice, straight o the point, although not that cheap :) Another one which could make the cut to the "Best of" collection of yours.

    1. Thank you very much :)

Hhi, I think it's quite cheap actually, the price is in Swedish Crowns ;)

  2. So, if your boss is looking, this is a nice subtle hint to turn up the temperature at work (notice I didn't say turn up the heat - oops). :D

  3. The pink works like magic on the gray yarn. And I love how you framed your shot.

I'm not the ponchotype but I'd love a sweater in that yarn & pattern. I would also buy immediately for € 22,- (after fitting to see if it itches and looks good).

  4. Lucky for you that they color coordinated the background and the tag. It all works nicely together.

  5. Lovely diagonal composition and a cool contrast between the shocking pink and the grey. What a find! It sounds like you are very much like me. I hate shopping. My daughter and husband are the shoppers in the family. My son and I get very bored and want to go home!

  6. Quick shops are always the best. I went shopping with a couple of girlfriend ages ago, and although I enjoyed hanging with them, the shopping experience wasn't enjoyable at all. One of them has a very different style to me as well, and she is considered fairly stylish. So I didn't really feel comfortable picking out clothes that I liked. Clint's actually surprisingly helpful on the rare occasion that he comes clothes shopping with me. He picks out things that I normally wouldn't, but then when I try them on, they actually suit me quite well!

    1. Lucky you! My Mr just sighs and stamps his foot haha (he hates it even more than I do). I know what you mean about shopping with friends, I'm exactly the same! I have no sense of what's "stylish" at all haha

  7. I suck at shopping, mostly because I hate to part with money.
Nice flash of colour in this shot.

  8. The steel grey of the poncho against the deep pink really works well together. I bet it looks great on you!

  9. Lovely combination of colours, textures and lines. A cracker of a shot!
Reminds me of when I bought a scarf in London in 2009. My mother had never seen me make up my mind so quickly, then she bought one too :-)
