We're still in the Panteon, but now we're looking up and down. The crown jewel of the dome is its open window. The cool thing about it is that it actually enhances the structural integrity of the building and there's not even a glass in it. The old romans knew what they were doing... They also thought of the plumbing of course, and since it rains in to the building through that top hole they naturally made proper drains in the flor. It also slopes ever so slightly towards those drain holes which sort of makes you think of it like the world's largest shower haha - it's got its water source on top and its clever plumbing at the bottom. Pretty neat, huh?
