Day 7 - "Like a Bird"

As the daylight lasts longer up here in the north one takes notice of little things; like the how the morning air smells differently, and how the it is filled with wonderful sounds...

I love my early walks to work. It's so nice to see the the changes from day to day, each a bit greener than the next. Can you believe it, I actually saw leaves on a tree yesterday. Yey! I almost did a little happy-dance when then and there, or, well, at least in my head ;)

  1. I have no idea what I'm looking at, but it's really cool looking! Such delicate lines!

Your "actually saw leaves on a tree" comment is cracking me up. We're already in the upper 80's & should be hitting 90° this week :(

  2. An interesting abstract shot, although I can't tell what it is. Is it a photo of some art?

    1. This is a close-up of a painted porcelain bird - the two lines forming a "v" are where the wings meet on it's back. I though the feather-like patterns would give it away, maybe not ;)

  3. A good abstract must puzzle you and this does just that. Good colour combination too. I'll be interested in the answer to Kim's question.

  4. Terrific abstract with great lines, curves and colors! The series thus far is fascinating with lots of wonderful abstracts.

  6. Very cool abstract that even after the hint makes me puzzle. I enjoy the lines and shapes and it does not really matter what it is.
